A food forest is a diverse planting of edible plants that attempts to mimic the ecosystems and patterns found in nature.
This is year three of our Fairgrounds Food Forest. We’re incubating six fruit trees, a hazelnut hedge, a blueberry patch, and an herb garden. In a few years, they will provide season-long bounty for Windsor residents, all of it free.
